Honker Burger was a fast food restaurant and the premiere burger joint of the city of Bluffington. It is featured prominently in the 1991 animated television series Doug as the main hangout for its characters.

The exterior of the Honker Burger
Honker Burger is the fast food place of choice for almost everyone in Bluffington, but it is particularly favored by the students of Bluffington School and even the snooty alumni of the Moody School for the Gifted who all make a habit of regularly going to Honker Burger almost every day after school either to eat or simply hangout and discuss the latest events while enjoying some honker shakes and some of Bluffington's signature healthy beets; they're nature's candy don't ya know.

The man, the myth, the legend, the boy, the "goof in the big burger suit"... the Hamburger Boy, the legendary but once ridiculed mascot of Honker Burger who appears for the first week of every summer at Honker Burger and promote official Honker Burger-sponsored events like the annual Lucky Duck Lake Picnic only to disappear just as mysteriously as he appeared by end of the week. No one knows who this enigmatic pickle-footed figure is, as he who dons the costume must swear to an oath of secrecy in order to uphold the strange honor and dignity of the Hamburger Boy legacy.
The Hamburger Boy 'meet and greet'
Though once the subject of ridicule among locals, Hamburger Boy quickly became a legendary folk hero following his rescue of several drowning children during the Lucky Duck Lake picnic only to mysteriously disappear for unexplained reasons. The last and only known footage of Hamburger Boy's final appearance showed the elusive figure fleeing the scene while inexplicably carrying a pair of pants, leaving only his pickle shoe behind, leaving many in Bluffinton to wonder who this strange and elusive hero was, where he came from and why he took a pair of pants. The world may never know.

Reading from Honker Burger's standard menu will be of little use to newcomers as the restaurant's employees can only understand "diner lingo" for some baffling reason that seems perfectly normal to the people of Bluffington even if the customer describes exactly what's on the menu or even if the register still displays the orders normally right in front of a clerk. So unless a customer knows diner lingo, they're fresh out of luck for a meal.
