Freddy Fear's House of Scares was a Halloween costume store chain featured in the Fallout series of video games, first appearing in the 2008 video game Fallout 3.
Overview[]
Freddy Fear's House of Scares was once a chain of Halloween specializing in all manner of amusing Halloween costumes, decorations and spooky novelties. The store enjoyed much success during their heyday, with locations in multiple states and their advertisements and posters could be found even in locations without a Freddy Fear's House of Scares. The company also hosted its own costume contests every October 23rd, just a few days before Halloween.
Unfortunately, Freddy Fear's along with the rest of civilization as a whole fell to ruin following the Great War and the nuclear apocalypse, rendering Freddy Fear's stores as nothing than a relic of a lost age, with their stores now being either empty ruins or serving as home to mutant creatures.
