Dinoco is a petroleum company with a multitude of petrol stations and its own racing team. Overview

Toy Story

Dinoco Station

A Dinoco gas station in the Tri-County Area

Although nothing is known about the company's history, it is frequently seen as the main gas station dotting the roadsides of the Tri-County Area and it was at one particular gas station that two living toys named Woody and Buzz had an all-out brawl.

In the far future, Dinoco was presumably bought out or run out of business by the global megacorporation Buy n Large, much like every other business on the planet, and like everything else, the company fell to ruin and decay as the world ended due to excessive pollution, with Buy n Large eventually leaving the planet, presumably ending any trace of Dinoco as all of humanity now solely resided on the spaceship the Axiom.

All that remained of the company were a few rusty lighters.

World of Cars

In a world inhabited entirely by living sapient cars, Dinoco has existed for many decades, originally founded by Tex Dinoco after he created the world's most popular oil product which was considered very appetizing for the cars of the world. The success of Tex's product allowed him to expand his business into a global corporation with gas stations on every corner and offices in many nations.

Aside from the company's proud history as oil distributors, it also has an equally long history of sponsoring great racing champions who've competed for the coveted Piston Cup, with none more notable than the famous "King" Strip Weathers, whose status as champion and official racer for Dinoco was considered the stuff of greatness and a position that many young racers dreamed of.

Mascot

The company has had various mascots during its lifetime all of which have been dinosaurs. The first known mascot during the 50's was a dark green stegosaurus, while in the 90's it was a red brontosaurs. The last known and most frequently used mascot has been a blue tyrannosaurus rex.
